Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig September. 21 1982) is a well-known American actress. She is most famously known for her role appeared as Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost television show, and Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. She was born in Worthington in Ohio. She dropped out of school after her parents separated to go into Los Angeles to live with her mother. In the midst of financial hardship, she got her first part as the title character in the online video series Rachel's Room in the year 2001. Her portrayal as Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the T.V. film Murder in Greenwich in 2002 earned her a nomination for a Young Artist Award. Grace Rutherford played Shannon Rutherford for Lost's first two seasons in 2004 and she shared a Screen Actors Guild Award (with all the other actors) along with her. Grace was a co-star alongside Tom Welling on The Fog in the year 2005, wanted to move into film. Grace has been in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club and in 2007 and in Taken opposite Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills. She reprised her role as Kim Mills in Taken 2 (2012) and Taken 3 (2014).She played the leading role in Alice on Malice in Wonderland a modern version of Lewis Carroll's classic novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace reprised Shannon's role in Lost for two episodes, including the finale of the series. In 2013 she appears in the sixth episode of Californication. She portrays Faith as a groupie and also a model for stars. Hank Moody is played by David Duchovny. She's a Gyllenhaal. child of Stephen Gyllenhaal (director) and Naomi Achs (producer), she is a bit younger that Jake Gyllenhaal. The first time she appeared in films of her father as an adolescent. With her brother, she also appeared in Donnie Darko (2000). Then she appeared in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind as well as Mona Lisa Smile (both 2002). Gyllenhaal received critical acclaim for her performances as the lead in the erotic romance comedy Secretary (2002) as well as the thriller Sherrybaby (2006) both of which brought her a Golden Globe Award nomination. She gained wider recognition when she portrayed Rachel Dawes, a superhero in The Dark Knight (2008) due to the success of several commercial films that she was a part of during 2006. In recognition of her role as the single mother in Crazy Heart (2009) she received a nomination for Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. In the following years, she played in comedies and dramas which included Nanny McPhee's Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011, and Won't Back Down 2012 Other parts include acting as a Secret Service agent for The Secret Service in White House Down 2013, as a vocalist in Frank 2014 and as a singer as a singer in The Kindergarten Teacher 2018, in which she plays the title character. Gyllenhaal began her professional career as director, screenwriter and script writer, when she directed and wrote her psychological horror film The Lost Daughter. The film received the award for Best Screenplay in The Venice International Film Festival, and was also nominated for the Academy Award.
